We take great pride in being a Community Learning Center that offers a wide range of services to engage, educate, and support our students, their families, and the entire community. Our on-site partners provide diverse services, and we are fortunate to have numerous other partners, including dedicated community volunteers, who prioritize the comprehensive development of our students during their journey with us.

Activities Beyond the Classroom
ABC is dedicated to promoting student success by providing equal opportunities in the areas of arts, athletics, and wellness. Our mission is to nurture character development, ignite passions, and instill lifelong values. At ABC, we offer Woodford a diverse range of resources, clubs, and sports to support students in their holistic growth and development.
Adopt A Class
Adopt A Class facilitates connections between businesses and civic groups, who act as mentors, and students attending schools with high poverty rates. On a monthly basis, these adopters visit our school to engage in mentoring sessions that involve educational activities, field trips, and pen pal exchanges. T.
Assistance League
Assistance League’s signature program, recently broadened its scope of services to address not only clothing, but also health, literacy, school supplies and hunger needs.
The Church of Christ at Kennedy Heights
Kennedy Heights Arts Center
Guardian Savings Bank
Provides the financial literacy resource, EVERFI. Also provides resources for community/family engagement events.
Freestore Food Bank
Provides a monthly delivery of power packs to feed 70 students on a weekly basis.
Girls Health Period
Provides a quarterly donation of feminine hygiene products.
Men Organized Respectful and Educated (M.O.R.E.)
Leadership program for young men in grades 5 and 6. A program with the vision of improving the lives of our young men through academic achievement, social and community responsibility. M.O.R.E. aims to create values that teach responsibility, respect and encourage self-growth.
Girls to Women
Leadership program for young women in grades 5 and 6. Girls to Women Leadership Collaborative is designed to provide equitable access for female students to leadership development opportunities that will transform school cultures for the better.
Imani Family Center
Provides enrichment and tutoring to students after school.
